Who we are

About Sobany & Sons

Incorporated in Port Louis on 25 June 1999, Sobany & Sons Co. Ltd is an electrical and electronic engineering company serving both the public and private sectors. We are a single point of contact for road-safety and traffic-signal work — supplying the equipment, installing it, and keeping it running.

As the Mauritian representative for SAGEM (France), Semaforica (Italy) and ENVOY (India), we have delivered more than 200 complete traffic-signal sets across the island. Our engineers are on call around the clock, so the systems that keep roads moving are never left unattended.

Our vision To bring new technology to Mauritius' roads — building a transport network that is safer, faster, cleaner, more economical and more reliable for everyone who travels.
